    - Baseboard cleaner, stripper, sealer and finish (see recommendation chart on previous page)

    - Mop buckets and wringers
    - Separate mop heads labeled for stripping, rinsing, sealing, and finishing
    - Plastic garbage bags

    PREPARATION
    A. Place safety signs in work area
    B. Remove portable furniture
    C. Tape cardboard down just outside work area to prevent tracking
    D. Put towels under doorways to prevent seepage of stripper
    E. Sweep or dust mop floor and use scraper to pick up sticky substances
    F. Wear personal protective equipment (refer to appropriate MSDS for additional information)
    G. Mix proper dilution of stripper (see label for recommended dilution ratio)
    H. Place stripping pad on rotary floor machine or autoscrubber

    STEP 1 - STRIP
    A. Apply Stripper working in smaller sections at a time. Saturate section with stripper solution. Let stripper stand for eight to ten minutes (if floor starts to dry, re-wet with stripper solution) During this time, agitate baseboards with doodle bug.
    B. Slowly scrub saturated floor section twice to assure complete finish and/or sealer removal.
    C. Pick up solution (slurry) with wet-vac or autoscrubber. Use mop to pick up excess solution.
    D. Move to the next section of the floor and repeat preceding steps until the floor has been completely stripped.
    E. Using a clean mop bucket, thoroughly flood-rinse floor with water. Pick up water using a wet-vac, mop or autoscrubber. Rinse two more times with clear water and a damp mop. After final rinse, allow floor to dry thoroughly.
    F. Once floor is dry, look for shiny spots that may remain. Apply stripper solution with a trigger bottle. Agitate and rinse.

    STEP 2 - SEAL
    A. Pour sealer into bucket lined with a clean plastic bag.
    B. Dip a mop into the sealer and lightly wring (allowing for a slight drip of product).
    C. Apply 1 - 2 THIN, even coats working from the baseboards out, with the first coat slightly thicker. Use the "Figure 8" or "S" pattern to apply product.
    D. Allow to dry 30-45 minutes, after it feels dry to the touch before applying second coat or finish coats.

    STEP 3 - FINISH
    A. Pour finish into bucket lined with a clean plastic bag.
    B. Dip a mop into the finish and lightly wring (allowing for a slight drip of product).
    C. Apply 2 - 4 THIN even coats of finish working from the baseboards out. Use the "Figure 8" or "S" pattern to apply product.
    D. Allow to dry 30-45 minutes, after it feels dry to the touch before applying additional coats.
NOTE: Allow 24 hour cure time before instituting maintenance procedures.

    STEP 4 - CLEAN

    MANUAL CLEANING:
    A. Apply the cleaning solution to the floor surface using a mop, brush or sponge.
    B. Let the cleaning solution stand on surface for at least 5 minutes.
    C. Scrub surface if necessary.
    D. Rinse thoroughly, and allow to completely dry.

    AUTOSCRUBBER CLEANING:
    A. Follow equipment manufacturers operating instructions.
    B. Make 1st pass over surface and let the cleaning solution stand for at least 5 minutes.
    C. Scrub the surface using a blue cleaning pad.
    D. Make second pass to pick up cleaning solution.
    E. Rinse thoroughly and allow floor to completely dry.

STEP 5 - MAINTAIN TO SHINE (Spray Buff):
    A. Sweep or vacuum the floor and remove all trash and gum.
    B. Apply spray buff/restorer lightly and evenly over a 2' x 6' area. Do not over spray or let solution dry on the floor.
    C. Attach the appropriate floor pad (see product label) to the floor machine.
    D. Spread solution with machine over 2'x6' area.
